May Lum is a marketing professional born and raised in Vancouver, B.C.
Before diving into the world of marketing, May’s interest in food developed when she was a wee undergrad student at UBC. May was intrigued by the foodie culture phenomenon that has taken a significant bite out of the social media landscape and often fascinated by how food always bring people together.
However, it wasn’t until she started clocking in the hours at Vancouver Magazine’s chosen Restaurant of the Year (2016), Maenam, that she realized the true effort that goes into making a great dining experience. This is when she found the heart of her appreciation toward food beyond consumption.
